Prime Minister's Interest Free Loan (PMIFL) Scheme

Objectives:

Interest free loan scheme is an opportunity and catalysts for change and economic development in the poorest segment of the society especially for women.
Interest free loan scheme further boost the productive economic activities, and youth are given proper guidance and financial support through this scheme and better access to innovative technology as they can play their positive role in the development.

Target Area In three Districts  Abbotabad , Haripur And Swabi 

 

Major Activities

  • GBTI has entered into a partnership with PPAF – LEED Group under Prime Minister Interest Free Loan Scheme amounting Rs. 345.940 Million.
  • The loan amount will be transferred as grant to community institutions with approval of PPAF.
  • Aims to provide productive micro-loans to the doorsteps of the poor and the destitute,those on a score of 0-40 on the Poverty Score Card so that they may enhance their incomes and improve their quality of life and facilitate their empowerment both economically and socially.
  • Borrowers will be encouraged to return the loan that will go back to permanent fund available to the community for future lending. Fund will also educate the borrowers to convert from being “takers” to “givers”, so that the fund will continue to grow.
